Tall Tines Bow
« on: February 01, 2010, 12:51:00 AM »
I finally got a look at my new bow from brian. What a awesome piece of work. Steve O. had picked out the wood and I told him not to tell me what it was. He was at K-Zoo this weekend. Don't know if you guys got to stop and see him, but I heard alot of people talking about how nice his stuff is. Brian does a really nice job, and his bows are really fast. If you haven't yet you need to check him out. Steve O. has some pictures of our twin bows, I'll try to get him to post them. Thanks again Brian & Steve

The newest set of twins are drop dead gorgeous!!  I was floored when Steve showed me those bows Friday!  Man that has to be the most figured bacote I have ever seen.  I am sure Steve will post up some pictures soon, if he hasn't already!!

I have never seen orange cocobolo like what was on that one riser.

Gary: I think I shot your bow before you did (if it was a lefty @57#'s). Brian said he didn't think you would mind. I came back after shooting swearing it was around 52#'s, it's that smooth, and something about pre-load. It shot exactly where I looked. You'll be very happy with her. thanks

Brian's bows were getting a real workout at the show - they were back and forth between the booth and the shooting range all weekend long.  Beautifully crafted work for sure!

Poor, poor Chimaster...  :D

I'm going to meet up with Gary today to get his bow tuned in and I will try to get some good pictures up tonight.

There are some GREAT pictures of the twins in this Kzoo picture thread:

That was the one I was eyeballing.  The grain in the sight window followed the contour of the back of the riser.  Just a gorgeous bow!

Well, it has been a rough week.  We did meet up and the bows shoot GREAT!  But, I did not have time for pictures, then got busy, and then got sick.  So, I did just take a few pics of my twin, the lefty I will get in here later.

I sold my Talltines a few weeks back in a weak moment. I'm regretting it already...guess I'll just have to get another one 8-)
