Footing: what size aluminum?

I need to know what size of aluminum shaft to use to foot Easton Epic nano 300 shafts

I don't have an answer but it looks like the shaft is .281 diam.? Did you look in the How To Resources? There are other shafts and footing sizes listed.Maybe you can cross reference one of those and find the right size.I just measured a piece of 2016 shaft and as close as I can figure,it is about .2795 inside.Sometimes these things fool you.It might be worth giving the 2016's a try.I don't know if they ever made a 2014? That would have more inside diam.I know 2117 would be too big.
