I dying here!
« on: February 01, 2010, 04:00:00 PM »
I wish I could make e-mails appear. I'm sure that my computer is giving me problems. At least one person has sent me pictures of a bow I want to see but my computers virtual memory is too low to receive them. I sent him another friends e-mail address so they can be re-sent to his address. He'll call if and when they come through. waiting.......

I sent out another e-mail asking a bowyer for some information and.. well...I'm waiting and its killing me...

Thanks for allowing me to whine!

God bless,Mudd

Maybe this guy is sending too large of a file. I would be glad to send you a small file to see if your computer can handle it.

one thing you can try right now is to delete some stuff off of your hardrive, virtual memory uses harddrive as its memory

Sometimes folks send me HUGE pic files. I save them and can view them as thumbnails in My Pics

OK! I think the problem might not be mine! Yahoo!! Killdeer was nice enough to send me 3 test e-mails with 3 different size photos from small to extremely large. At least that's the way I understood them to be and I got all of them ..no problems.
I also got my other e-mail answer. I'm all good now. You can send the WAAAAAmbulance back...lol
Thanks!
God bless,Mudd
I still have memory issues but I'm getting help there too thanks to CaliCreole.

Mudd, I've been having the same problem getting pics. This must be a virus affecting some of us old guys. Kildeer and George seemed to have cured the problem for you.
