Not to sidetrack this welcome thread, but how did I miss the "World Renowned Bowhunter" last w/e?  I spent quite a while talking w/ Blake Fisher...

I did get to meet Fletcher's better half as well.

Sooner or later I will end up on the wood side.

They are supposed to be straight; I hope they're not overspined.   :D      Which ones did you get, so I can put a face to your handle?  BTW, thanks!

I do agree with all that have said it, Rick knows STAIGHT! We did the GLLI last year and that was my first meeting with Rick and I was very impressed with his arrows. I wish we could have visited more last weekend, I enjoy talking with you. Welcome again Rick.

I just got a dozen shafts from Rick, SWEEEEET!  I couldn't tell you how many folks have commented on them since I started using them only about 4 days ago.  They fly great and are super straight.  All within just a few grains of each other and spined almost exactly to the pound of each other.  What more could you ask for?
Another thing about The Feathered Shaft is that Rick sent me several arrows to test to make sure what pound spine I needed.  He told me to shoot them and cut them to what ever I needed, and then mark that shaft and send them back to him.  He them matched the dozen I got to that shaft.
Just ordering some shafts could have been bad.  I ordered them for a Robertson 53#@28" longbow that I pull 28.5#.  Should have been about 55#, so I would have ordered 55#-60# spine shafts, when I shot them I needed a 63# spine shaft at 30" and cut it to 29".  Saved me alot of trouble and wasted money.
Great Job Rick!

At dinner Saturday night, I found out Rick was a jet engine mechanic in a previous life...the precision of his wood shafts then made a little more sense to me.

I picked up a dozen of Ricks "Classic" in Douglas fir. Most beautiful arrows that I have seen, I normally make my own but as I walked by his booth at KZOO I fell in love.Took the arrows home, tapered a few and shot my Schafer for an hour. Unbeleiveable flight, best $129 I have ever spent thanks Rick!
