As I have heard, all the pigs seem to be south of Springfield.  I have never seen one, but then again, I don't hunt down there.

Went hunting a couple of times around lesterville, MO.  Saw sign but no pigs. A guy I used to know got one during deer season about 4 years ago in that same area.

If you want to know if they are around, dump out a bag of corn and put up a trailcamera. If you corn them, they will come.

Check Ft. Leonard Wood.  Back in college we killed a couple there.  They have specific rules for hunting there.  Here is a link to their page:
