Looking at both these longbows in a 58"-60" length. My priorities are first silence, second forgiveness, third a smooth handshock free shot and speed a distant fourth. How would you all rate these bows? Thanks ahead for any insight.

I don't know anything about the Somerset but, i got a Whip about 3 months ago. I really like the whip, i'm thinking of selling all my other bows and getting another one. I've got some pretty big name bows {morrison dakota, griffin, and massie longhorn}and i like the whip better.

like bowquiver I can't say about the Somerset but the whip is a great shooting bow. I will order one as soon as the bank account says I can. A couple more pay days ought to do it.
