Would you drill 5/16’’ holes in your longbow?
« on: February 03, 2010, 07:42:00 PM »
I drill holes in all my recurves for Selway side mount quivers without hesitation.  I was going to do the same to a longbow but when I got it in today it doesn’t really look like there is enough room and the wood looks amazing and I hate to drill in it.  Have you or would you put bushings in your longbow?

If it was one of those longbows that has a chuncky recurve-ish riser, probably fine. Most lb's just dont have enough wood to safely be drilled for bushings.

If you want to ruin it go ahead. Buy a strap on quiver.

Not that you need to hear it again, but I'm with everyone else in saying no.
