To lpcjon2: that's my turkey & goose flinter... .75 cal (11 ga.) doglock with a "full" jug choke. It's a repro 1710 era "club butt" fowler - here's some more on it: Doglock Club Butt Fowler

(I must confess... as much as I love traditional archery, I love traditional muzzleloading as well! Please don't hold it against me here... it's still traditional!)

This is yours truly atop the lookout bluff overwatch at the Clear Fork of the Brazos River at Renyold's Bend, of Lambshead Ranch, in Albany, TX. Behind me about 5mi off into the distance is where the Pig Giggers were taking landscape pictures during the snow two weeks ago. Ranch has been in my buddy's family since 1853. I love it there.

Highpoint Forge, based on recent experience, I doubt that you are on the Lambshead. Three reasons:

1. No mud.
2. No snow.
3. A pink polo shirt (with the collar up, no less) on an old-time Texas-By-Gawd cattle ranch? No way.
