-check out Robertson Stykbows...he uses alot of Juniper

Like hockey7 said Dick Robertson does some nice work with Juniper. Here are a couple pictures of the veneers on my Robertson Vision Falcon.
 
 
To me, the ultimate challenge in bowhunting is not how far away you can succesfully make a killing shot but rather how close you can get to the animal before shooting.

I love Juniper lams, they look great.  Eastern Tennesse red Cedar looks pretty close.  You could try that.  Here are pics of the cedar

Nice I like them, They look nice.. I can even see them limbs with a Osage handle, Now that would really look nice..

My Whisperstik has all heartwood juniper veneers.
