That's awesome, I hate domestic cats but for some reason love bobcats, lynx, mountain lions, etc.

They are definately different cats. We have both in Alberta, however, the bobcat can only be found in the Southern part of the Province. The mom, for the most part, pretended we weren't even there.  I was able to get quite close and take quite a few pics.
