I know this is a revival of an older thread but....

What do you guys wear underneath when it is September HOT in Georgia?  I would like to find some really lightweight long sleeve top that will give me coverage without too much heat.  The shirt does not have to be camo as I think something black or tan would be adequate.  Are the "heat" shirts from Under Armour anything special or are they just simply polyester?

Thanks,

James

I would like to know how the sizes work out and what size to order so it fits over at least mid weight layers.  If you wear XL will an XL suit fit over a mid weight jacket?

I'd like to know that too. I think I'm in between a M and L...may need one if each.

Mine is an XL and I normally wear a 2XL. I have enough room in mine to layer it over all but my heaviest wool. Great suit! Mike

So if I'm reading this right, you wear a size smaller than normal with the ASAT suit, and it still fits over other layers?

I have bought three suits, two for me,one for my nephew. They all run a size smaller.if you normaly wear a large,I would definetly get and XL suit. That has been my experience.

Now I'm really confused. Most people who have the suit seem to think they run large, but you have found yours to run small?

With this style of suit you really can't screw up going larger unless the sleeve length or leg length is critical.  I have been researching these and plan on getting one ASAP.

If you all really want a great light weight and highly effective mesh leafy suit - you have to check out the kill suits from allpredator just do a google search.  These are without a doubt the best camo system I have ever used.  The offer a traditional string and a digital mesh - I have the digital mesh in both desert and woodland camo - unbelievable and wait until you see the price.  They have some videos on you tube.  beats ASAT and other leafy wear hands down.
Everything has a price - the more we accept, the more the cost

I have been using one for years and would not part with it...it is incredibly effective at making you vanish!

Do we have any sponsors that sell these?

DaveT,
Do you have the suit or the Sapper? Have you hunted them enough to know how they will hold up ?

JKM97,
They are sold out of the woodland suit so I got antsy and ordered a Sapper. I was impressed with the Sapper as well.

For hunting in Colorado I wouldn't trade my ASAT leafy suit for anything.

Best place to buy the ASAT suit??? Will be hunting the ground exclusively this fall, knees can't take climbing but a time or two anymore so am developing some ground blinds. Thanks for any info.
The essence of the hunt for me is to enter nature and observe+ return safely occasionally with the gift of a life taken.

I just ordered one. Can't wait for fall to try it out. I'm a ground hunter and need all the help I can get. Thanks for the replies that got me to try one.
