Cushion Plunger Height
« on: February 05, 2010, 04:31:00 PM »
I'm leaning very hard toward installing a plunger insert I have in the tackle box on one of my H2s.

I've been shooting a T-300 for years, set so the launcher arm is 1/2" above the highest point on the shelf. I'm thinking for optimum vane (when I shoot vanes) clearance, it probably needs to be a touch higher, though.

Being as there's no taking it back once I start up the drill press, I'm interested in how high above the shelf you have your plunger inserts installed...

I just measured three risers. They range from 7/8" to 15/16" from the shelf to the center of the button.
