Moose may be big, but he really isn't that tough. Angry and aggressive maybe, but not tough.

My oponion but it is just that, I have shot 3 Moose 2 with Grizzlys and the last one with a STOS BH.
None of them went far before giving up the ghost, all were well hit, the STOS was a pass through out of a 63# Bow. Moose are thick the pass through impressed me.
My.001 cents times are tough.

Brian,
I've had mixed results on large boar hogs with the WW and my current setup. Decided that with the size of the moose I'd change. When we visited the Abowyer shop last summer, Larry showed us the testing they had done with there heads and all of the top heads on the market. When I got back, I ordered the Brown Bear heads with a left bevel to match my left wing feathers.
I'll be ordering more soon.

I killed a 600 pound cow with a Razorcap 3 blade. She took 3 steps and went down.
My buddy Todd took this Maine bull this past Fall with a two blade single bevel No Mercy. It went 15 yards and piled up.

Nice looking moose guys. The trad harvest that my group have taken have both been 2 blade heads. The first in '95 was I believe a Journeyman broadhead and in '05 my buddy Garf Smith got his bull with a big Magnus head.
