What are the dimensions and shape of limb wedges for TD longbows? I may try and make my own. Kind of look like they are parallel for 1/2 length then taper down...or am I just imagining things? Steve

Take a look at this. About 1/3rd of the length is tapered. Your design dictates the length you need.

CS, are those Bingham wedges for a recurve? If they are made like that, does the long flat side go to the back and is the part that is flat against the form? Steve

The wedges that I use for my TD Long bow are 10" long , 3/8 in. thick with a continuous taper. One advantage of having some parallel before the start of your taper is a flush limb bolt fit without a reverse taper limb overlay. It all depends on your limb design.

Those wedges I made. They are .200 thick. That design takes a 7 3/4 wedge. Yes the flat part is on the front of the bow for a smoother profile.
