Hmmmm. Shield or naner's?
« on: February 09, 2010, 12:15:00 PM »
Just can't decide. Made both for the purple heart foots. I like the way they both fly. The purple crest was a little light but I'm getting used to the color already. Reminds me of some plant way up high in Colorado(Oh summer time, can't wait!). What does the Gang think?

I'm a shield fan myself...but that's based on looks alone and with no regard to function.

I just like the look of the shields better.

With nanner's...I can't tell if they are coming or going!   :biglaugh:

I used nanners for awhile bought the chopper and all they, were noiser so I modified the chopper to lower the profile and got rid of the problem. However I have gone back to burning mine, and I use about 4.5" cut that way I can usually get two cuts out of one full length. If you are tuned right you still get good flight with the shorter cut. I now use the shield burn, but I am always expermenting thats why I'm going back to burning the shapes are unlimited. My new burner should be here this week.  :wavey:

Hey highcountry.  You think that snow will ever melt.  I would have to go with shields.  Those are some snazzy looking shafts you got there.  Have a good one, Cade.

Half and half if you can't decide, for me since those Shields look as high-back as the bananas anyways I'd go with the nanners  :)
