that is awesome, I can only imagine working with that type of skin.  I heard they are really thin!  I was thinkin of tryin a rabbit, but that skin is really hard to get too, you have to get off the membrane, and that is very difficult!  Seriously that is a great lookin mount though!

I don't have a photo but one of my friends that passed away was honored by a real nice flower bouquet made from all the local clubs different fletched arrows. It was a very unique looking from all the different colors feathers, wood stains, and crestings.

Here's some Italian bacon, or "pancetta":

And here's the first knife I ever made. I call it the "California Hog Skinner" and I designed it for skinning a hanging hog (or deer, etc.) I'm trusting you folks - there's only three like it in the world (I have one, my brother has another, and Toby "BTH" the third) and I've considered patenting them they work so darned well!

This is a shadow box- about 2.5" deep.  In it I placed heritage/tradition/memory stuff for my 21 year old son.  The backboard is his first skinning board, the arrow head- his first trad. harvest arrow, a toad shooting arrow, turkey feathers are from his first bird, and all the pics are generations (4) of grand (great-great)fathers, uncles, dad (me), all with outdoor harvests/experiences.  The color photos are him growing up with lots of hunting/trapping experiences in the outdoors.  This is a valuable memory and tradition keeper for him.  Lots of memories and tears for dad! What a treasure!!

Some really cool stuff on here!!! I'm amazed at the amount of talent on here!  I'm gonna have to make me a few of the items I saw on here.  Maybe I'll be able to add to the thread after my move.  Thanks for sharing.

I made this video a couple weeks ago, my viewers requested it!  It is how I make my flemish strings.  Seems there are so many different ways to do it, so I didnt title it How to make a flemish string, but How I make a flemish string

Heres a recurve and box call i used the same inlay in..I gave the bow to my buddy Marty. I need to give it back!

Heres a bow case i made out of heavy weight vegetable tan leather and lined with some tanned elk skin. It was a labor of patience here since i had never and will never make another one. Hand stiched the whole rascal. Embossing my logo was fun.

Here is a back quiver I just finished tonight. I need to oil it up yet but at least its finished.
Its made from heavy 8 to 9oz veg tan leather. I came up with my own quick release system, its simple but works great so far. I hope to get it out with the bow this weekend and get pic's of it in action.

It still needs a few finishing touches, repaint the buckle and clip and mink oil.
