Man... those classic shafts were nice too...

I believe the Bone Collector has something to do with a TV show on the Outdoor channel.I think it is with Micheal Wadell and Lee and Tiffiany.I just bought a target that says "Bone Collector" series on it.

This sounds like a rumor to me.  Both shafts are listed on Beman's website.  I fired off an email to get the scoop.  I will post the reply when I get it.

It's the story of the CXTH all over again.  If you use the MFX, buy them up and lay in a supply now...

This thread a RUMOR Beman will still be producing the Classic Shafts.

Here is a copy of the email from them.

Paul,

I apologize for the previous email, but the classic will still be produced.  The MFX
Team Realtree is the one that will no longer be produced.

Thank you for your patience in the delayed response.  Tech Support is handling all
inquiries and questions as quickly and effectively as possible.

Please respond with any more questions or concerns.

Thank You,

Subject: Rumor or True (MFX)?

I have been hearing a rumor that the MFX Classic shaft is no longer
going to be made.  And it is being repalce with the Bone Collector.  Is
there any truth to this.  I sell quite a few of the MFX shafts and would
hate to seen them go.

Thanks,
Paul Mattson

Hey Paul--since you are talking with them, can you see if they've ever entertained the idea of the FMJs in a "Classic" footed wood grain pattern like the Legacy?

If you really like something, buy ten of them: Paul "8th Dwarf" Brunner

Sorry to everyone for any misinformation.  The gentleman at Easton was incorrect.  Thank you, Paul, for the clarification - he meant to tell me the realtree MFX was being discontinued.

That make more sense since the Realtree MFX were a Michael Waddell addition shaft.  I believe this was the shaft that was used as a sponsor on this show.

I like the Bone Collector show and the shaft is a much cleaner looking shaft than the Team Realtree shaft was.

All that said the Classics are a very tough arrow!

Steve,
I've asked them, the short answer is "no", but if you put in an order for 30,000 shafts they'll put about anything you want on them.
