By the way I agree with the scull mounts becoming more popular simply because of the cost of head mounts.  I shot an 11 pt. this year that is now a scull mount.  The only down fall is the Wife won't let me hang em up anywhere!!  I think I got 6 or 7 laying in the basement.

Tyee, Those are sheds and I scored them 240pts.  :readit:

A rifle hunter shot the buck that fall near my house, He had 4 drops then and he scored around 250pts.

Here are a few skull mounts that I have. The larger deer was found by my Dad while swathing a field in Saskatchewan. It still had a bit of velvet on it. The smaller deer was my 2008 harvest in Manitoba and the bear was my first big game harvest with a bow taken in the fall of 2006 in Manitoba. The bear skull was done by a taxidermist. I did both deer myself after reading the article "Cleaning Skulls...How I do it" by Gene Wensel in the Dec/Jan 2009 issue of Traditional Bowhunter Magazine. The deer were a ton of work but I am happy with how they turned out. It was a lot cheaper than paying a professional, you just need the time and can't be afraid to get your hands a bit dirty.
