Anneeewakee Addiction
« on: February 11, 2010, 09:14:00 AM »
Thinking about getting one of these little bows as my next one. Anyone who has shot or has one, what was your draw length? I draw 28" and shoot 3 under, will it be too short for me? Also any pictures or other info would be appreciated... Thanks

JK traditions... the folks who make Kanati bows, I think his name is John Dill.

Anneewakee Archery (John Dill) makes the Kanati quiver and markets the Addiction recurve which is actually made by the bowyer Lee Hoots for John.   http://www.kanatiquiver.com/   (the bow is not on John's web-site as of yet)

JK Traditions (Jason Kendall) makes the Kanati Longbow.   http://www.jkbows.com/

Somewhat confusing but these two are actually separate entities and have no relation to each other so far as I know.

Morgan your draw length is fine I would recommend the 54in at your draw, I have guys shooting the 56in. at 30+ draw. Give John a call we have 4 or 5 in stock, Let me know what weight your looking for and i'll see if he has it or if not we can get you one going pretty quick. Thanks, Hoot

A couple "Evil" fellers made me shoot one of those at Kzoo. I tried to tell em I had enough "Addictions". They wouldn't take no for an answer and "FORCED" one into my hand.

I've had terrible nightmares since. "What do you mean you need another bow"! "It's called addiction! You have enough of those"!! and on and on. Screechin right in my ear!

Thanks alot Don and John!!!

I know whereof you speak, Kenny - I think the same two "Evil" buggers did that to me, right here locally, no less. Those nightmares are tough, ain't they?

Great shooting bows. I read all the threads and shot all the demo bows at K-Zoo. I'm drawing real close to 29" and felt the 54" bow shot better for me then the 56" bow. I shoot 3 under and my other bows are 60" Zippers. I was very please with the performance of this bow. I have one on order

I bought one at Kzoo. I was just looking at the bows and Bill said go ahead and shoot it. There is a reason they call it the addiction. I now own one only my second recirve and my first short one 56" 48#@28". NO finger pinch or stack at 29". MIIKE
