'Nother Widow Shooter!
« on: February 11, 2010, 07:54:00 PM »
Well Gents,

I got my PSR III today!  I'll put the pic up very soon!!  The bow was build in 2007 and looks like it was never ever shot!!

What are your thoughts on the spider silencers?  They seem to work for me... I must say I am also VERY superstitious about changing the setup on the bow cause it is shooting so well for me right now...

The other cool thing is that it tuned up with a nice, heavy, 750 gr Easton FMJ Dangerous Game arrow, 22% EFOC with 300 grs up front!  Wish I could afford a moose hunt but all my money seems to be going to Washington these days    :banghead:
God Bless,
Erik

If it shoots well for you i wouldnt change a thing.

Congrads on your bow, those Widows are one of the best built bows i have ever shot.

Congrats on your widow.  The are great bows.  To answer your question, I really like the spider silencers.  I put them on my PA exactly like the owner's manual instructed and it is quiet.

I also like the widow silencers, dont like the looks that much, but they work very well. Weigh less than spider legs too...Congrats on the new bow.

I've killed a fair stack of animals with standard Black Widow strings fitted with their silencers. I'd keep 'em on.

I like the spider silencers...seem to work well for me.  Congrats on your new Widow!  I just ordered a new X handle for a set of ironwood limbs that I've had sitting on my shelf.  Can't wait to get it!

Thanks everyone!  I hope to snap a shot or two this weekend and post it up!  And thanks for the input on the silencers... I like them enough and like the way its shooting now so I'm just going to leave it alone!

I saw two nice coyotes in a field today... MAYBE I'll take it out next week and see if I can call those rascals in   :goldtooth:
