Anybody out there own one? And are they worth the money?

Only you can answer that.  Mine are worth the money (to me).  It won't transform you automatically into a better hunter..maybe a better shooter, maybe not.  The attention to detail is very, very good.  The waiting list for a new one is about 2 years now, maybe less.  Can you wait that long?  If you can shoot one first that is the route to go.  If you can find a used one, i would recommend that route also rather than spend that kind of money on a bow you aren't sure you will like. Plenty of other bows out there that will perform as good as these very expensive bows.

Not saying they are not worth the price but just saying there are a ton of great bows out there.

Every bow is only that good as shooter is.
But for sure Habu bows are masterpieces... I would like to have one.

I'm very pleased w/ both of mine.There are many great bows out there for half the cost and wait.You could order one and try many others durring the 2 year wait.

Chris is a real artist. You can be sure that when you get one of his bows that its the best it can be. If you got the money you won't be disappointed.

I own one, and would say it's a great shooting bow, heavy mass, quiet, fast fast fast, and easy on the eyes... I hunt hard with my bows and can't justify bangin this one up, so I put it in the classifieds to trade.....

I love both of mine.  I have a recurve and a Vyperkhan with longbow limbs.  They are pretty much perfect.  But one bow does not fit everyone.

Actually, the last time I spoke with Chris, he said his waiting list may soon be even longer.  The demand for his bows is great.  Notice that it is hard to find a used one.

I just got a Habu Death Adder from a TG member. Smooth and quiet do not describe it. I can say this, it shot exactly where I looked.

I have had one for almost 3 years now. I bought it from a Tradganger with 2 sets of limbs. 62", 47 @ 28 and 55 @ 28. I also bought a set 60", 49 @ 27, triple carbon limbs from Chris. The bow is brown, green and black. I think this color pattern is called 3 color sash or something like that.
It is smooth and fast. The best workmanship I have seen. Is it worth it? Depends on if your willing to spend that much.  And, if it shoots good for you. Best to find one to tryout first.
Keep in mind also that your shooting form needs to be consistant, to shoot any bow well. When my form is off I don't shoot any bow well. Jim
