I usually make and donate 2-3 dozen arrows to PBS every year. This year year I made three dozen for the upcoming banquet in Nashville next month. Here they are for your viewing pleasure.
The first dozen are 1/4" kids arrows. They are made of ramin wood and 24" bop and fletched with right wing feathers.
The second dozen are 65-70# tapered larch arrows, 30" bop, fletched with right wing Canada goose feathers. They have an average weight of 651 grains and are tipped with 145 grain Eclipse broadheads.
The third ddozen are 70-75# tapered larch arrows, 30" bop, fletched with right wing spliced feathers. They have an average weight of 700 grains and are also tipped with 145 grain Eclipse broadheads.
The Eclipse broadheads are courtesy of Blake Fischer at Eclipse. Hopefully PBS will make a few dollars toward their operating expenses from the sale of these arrows.
