I'm not a leather worker or craftsman, but I have made two quivers in the last 20 years (the one that I've carried for 20 years and one I made for a buddy of mine on his 60th birthday). They're nothing fancy, but I make them to last. I don't know how to tool the leather, so artwork by me would be out of the question.
Here's what they look like (this is the one I made for my buddy):
I carve the buttons from bubinga and all of the seams are double sticked with leather lacing.
Is the auction in May? If so, that should give me plenty of time to get it done as these take a long time to make (lots of holes to punch).
I don't have any leather to make another one so I'll have to track down a piece unless someone has a piece about 36" X 36" of 3-4 oz that they want to donate to the cause.
If this isn't what you are looking for or you want to wait and see if someone else steps up, just let me know you won't hurt my feelings.
