? on designing arrows

I am having some arrows built and need help on sizing. I will train with these arrows for hunting mo. whitetail in the fall. If I go from a 125gr. bh. to a 145, should I spine up or down?
Do I need to go to a 145gr? I shoot a 45@28 bow. I was looking at the snuffers.. this will be my first year hunting with a bow. If I go to a 145 should I go longer in feather length, 5.5. I shoot 5 now.Last, I like the shield look better but I want what flies better. shield or parabolic? thanks in advance

Everything being equal, I would advise that you should go up about 5# in arrow spine for about every 25 grains of increase in your point weight for wood or aluminum arrows. Carbons are a little less critical of this kind of increase in most cases. Snuffers are made in 125 grain size. If you already know what works well at 125 grains I would qestion what you think the benefit would be of going to a heavier head...although I must admit that a higher FOC will result in better penetration...at least it does for me.

I dont know about the benefits, harder hit I was thinking. more penetration. what are the down falls. speed, arrow drop faster?

With a 30" arrow and a broadhead I would think that a 55-60# would work good with either a 125 or 145 gr. head. Hap
