As you can tell, there are lots of good ones available anymore. When I decided to try out a short hybrid longbow (?), I tried several at the shoots over the summer. I chose and have been shooting a Centaur (Selway) Lil Mag for a couple of years and really like it. MOAB, T'stick III and Kabekona were also very good.

There are a lot of good bows listed here.
I just came for shotting my Chapperal Kaibad.
It's always a pleasure to shot. It performs close to my Rivders Edge recurve. I can't really tell the difference. They are priced well also.
You should give the a call.

The couple I would add to that awesome list of yours would be a Horne's Brushbow,Thunderstick MAG, and check out one of our new sponsers web turkeycreeklongbows Doug makes an easy to shoot, fast, reflexdeflex hybrid and the wait is around 8 weeks or under.I'm very happy with mine.

I have personal experience with the Shrews and the MOAB. Awesome shooting bows and well worth the wait. I have a new MOAB on order, and I am filling out a new Shrew Chameleon order right now.

Check out the Chaparral Kaibab II. I just got mine (52# @ 28", 60") and I really like it. Smooth & SO quiet. I know a guy who has a 49# one for sale for 325. That's a bargain! Check out what others have said on this forum about them. That's why I got one. Have fun!

Thanks everyone...
Guess, I opened a real can of worms as now I have needed to check out a few others bows and bowyers... Its only gotten harder to decide...
Guess I need to seek help, before I become an obsessive/compulsive bowaholic (not that its a bad thing..)- one of those guys who gets one bow, then well maybe I shoulda ordered that one... well one more bow... then it's nice and 6 months later... order another... So how do you OCB-holics slip those bows in the house without anyone noticing that they're multiplying?

I don't think you would go wrong with any of those. I might suggest....don't be afraid to try a 60" Big River. I saw at least one advertised for sale. They are great bows for not that much money.
