Randy Morin Hi-Breed T/D Longbows ***pix***
« on: February 18, 2010, 06:44:00 PM »
I have been asked by a couple people what kind of longbow I shoot so I though I post a few pix. These are made my Randy Morin out of Montana. They are good shooting longbows and have become my favorite.

In the first pix the one on the right was made last year. It is Osage and Bocote with boo cores and Walnut lams. The one of the left is  this years bow and is made with Bubinga and Osage with boo cores and Juniper lams. Both come in at 60" 54 @ 26. The Bubinga and Osage bow is headed back up to Randy so he can match the grip from the first bow. He sent it to me so I could rig it up for night hunting in Texas.

Nice. Is that a pig light on that bow? Looks tactical.

That is one of my setups...being in the military it is easy for me to find guys with stuff like this they are not using...I just had to buy the boar bracket.

The velcro in the other bow also holds a smaller light.

I owned one of Randy's bows last year. He is making a heck of a performer...smooth, fast and quiet. Nice compact hunting bow, and as an aspiring bowyer, Randy is top-notch..great friend too.
