Fred Asbell and bighorn bows
« on: February 18, 2010, 10:18:00 PM »
So I started bow hunting at 14 in 1989 I was drawn to stickbows so that is what I used. As all young bowhunters I picked out a bowhunting Hero G.Fred At this time Asbell was building and shooting his bighorn recurves so to me they had to be the best right. Well Mr Asbell sold the company and didnt shoot his bos any more he swithed to widows I never got a bighorn bow and I think it is strange that Asbell stopped shooting them ,this might be why I would never want to build bows so many good ones to shoot, but my point on this is has anyone heard him talk about not shooting the bows he use to build and or why he went to widows as his go to bows maybe he was or is on the payroll with that company.
