Pics of John Strunk "Traditional Spirit"

Just rec'd package at the Post Office today and wanted to share some pics of the new to me bow.
Osage with snakeskin backing. 66" 53@28
 Also added a pic of my "just can't seem to get finished" Osage takedown selfbow. 58" and we don' know @ yet. Shooting for 50#

Cane and Magnolia tend to make good arrow.

Hey Ben, Thank You. How are you? I've been watching your posts. Hope someday to get your direction. I will tell you this bow is a beauty. I pumped a dozen of my bamboo arrows at the target today with it. Actually only used 3 arrows but flinged em 4 times at only 10 yds indoors.
I'm going to like this one!
There is something about this bow. It has Charm, Charisma, and Character.
And now I have a model for my osage staves that have been curing in the shop.
I'm elated. And I'm going to learn how to build my own yet.

From the name on the bow it looks like I'm the second owner. I would never have been able to purchase it new. Only the third selfbow I've ever owned. # 1 was a ufinish that I purchased from Dan Quillian, # 2 was an Osage and Yew from Jay St. Charles.
I often kick myself for turning the others.
This one is a keeper to be passed down.
