Terry, did you go with zircote as well or stick with the honduran rosewood?  I keep looking at this pic and kinda wonder if I should've went with zircote myself.  I talked to Roger about it, but in the end went with Pau Ferro (like on my old PSAX)...Mike

I don't think you can go wrong with zircote,brazilian/honduran rosewood, and pau ferro is another wood you don't hear alot about. I have a toelke 3 piece recurve with the pau ferro riser I like the color/grain of the wood alot. I havea Curly Narra 54" PCH on order as well should be done real soon I think it will be very, very nice also. To be honest I have seen several great looking "X" Widows last few months I think BW has turned it up a notch in the exotic grade bows.

Beautiful! No other word fits.  Show some pictures of just the riser when you get a chance.  The light color of the limbs may have thrown the light meter off in the camera.  That may be why its coming out darker.  Or if you want to keep it together.  Lay it down and cover the limbs with a black or dark (darker than the riser) cloth.

Sorry Ben the good thing is BW waiting time has been around 6-10 weeks on average not to bad! The PCH shoots great I have been shoooting some arrows in the evenings after work they have been zipping right to the kill zone on my target. One of my buddies likes shooting my PCH so much he is ordering a 56" PCH graybark very soon.I will try some better riser pics soon when I get a chance to sit down and try a different camera also.
