Has anyone seen this stand??

Saw this tree stand at the Eastern sports show In Harrisburg Pa.a couple of weeks ago. It's real light and looks well thought out. I stopped using climbers years ago but this one has rekindled my interest in them

I think it looks a tad bit bulky to pack and carry, the tree cables and rail look like they could hit branches and stuff. the rail also looks like it would get in the way of a trad bow, thats the problem i have with my API. the concept seems like it would work, i like the 12# weight. i didnt see a weight limit so i dont know if its for a bigger guy. over all i think id stick to the Lone wolf hand climber.

Like the weight, but it seemed bulky and noisy compared to my climbers, IMHO.

I saw this stand at Harrisburg also. It was definitely light, but seemed kind of flimsy to me. I like my Timbertall Baby Lite. It weighs just 13 lbs and has the self leveling feature for both the patform and the climber for those frequent occasions when you misjudge the taper of the tree.

The stand is definitely NOT flimsy. It may be light but it's all welded. I kept coming back to their booth about three times ,standing on it ,climbing a short way---it' solid. Also the shooting rail can be quickly removed, which also lessens the weight by about a pound. When I was in the stand, with the rail removed, I was trying to simulate shooting my 62" recurve out of it --I don't think it would be a big problem

That is slick.I have never heard of a climber that light.Light ones are usually 17 lbs.It really does look to be very well designed. Thanks for posting that.

looks to me like too much could break, almost like a compound, to many different parts, but that is just me, it doesnt help that I am scared of treestands(even though I use them)

Noisey going up. I was impressed until he started climbing. I wonder if you can shorten the cable loop when your traveling? Looks like it could hook onto limbs and branches.

Looks light and simple. Very few parts and I like that there are not metal arms. A coated cable is much quieter if you make contact with your bow or arrow. I would need the rail off. I like stands that have at least a strap to allow set and climb, but all in all looks good. I don't hear where it is loud climbing other than bark noise and all climbers do that. I think I would like a belt for better trunk traction, but other than that it looks good for a real light weight climber. The loops do stick out a bit when packing, but I wonder if you could retract those some using a strap or something to compress them down out of the way.

I think if you weigh 300 pounds, you may want to consider not climbing up into trees and standing on little platforms. Just sayin' 8^).

Does not look durable enough for me to use. Light is good but treestands take a fair amount of abuse (at least mine do).

Arraflinger, thanks for the link. I'm always on the lookout for a lightweight climber designed to suit me. This still isn't the one for me. I'll probably be pre-hanging chain-on stands until Father Time forces me to stay on the ground. Clint
