Long story short, a couple of TG members suggested to me that I could try altering how I set my bow arm when I draw and see if that would take my draw length down 1/2" or so. Soooo, this morning I'm out shooting with my kids, using 42-48# bows, trying a few changes, getting some decent results. We knock off for lunch, I get on the honey do list for a while, then at 3 I think to myself, "Hey, I haven't shot my Frederick longbow in a while, I'll try that". I draw this bow to 56# pretty consistently. Three shots to warm up, need a stiffer arrow. 200 grain tips on 29" 400 spine Beman ICS Hunters, shooting at the "S" in the word "Seed". Shot at 55 feet. Woo Hoo!
