switching arrows
« on: February 21, 2010, 11:58:00 AM »
I'm switching to gold tip traditionals.  My bows range from 48#-54# @ 29".  I've been shooting a 100 grain broadhead with a 100 grain adaptor.  Which would work best for me, the 3555 or 5575?  any tips would be helpful.  Previously I was shooting mfx classic 500's.  Thanks for the help.

I have used the 5575's with 250 gr heads and 30 1/2 inch arrows with my 53# longbow.

3555's are 500 spine.5575's are 400 spine.I think the 3555's if you want to stay with your current point/adapter weight.I need about 290 grs up front to make 5575's work on those weight bows with a 30" arrow.
