Walk in the woods today
« on: February 21, 2010, 05:34:00 PM »
Too nice of a day not to go out and spend some time in the woods.  Depending on the spot, there's still 8-10 inches of snow left from the second of the storms a couple weeks back. Didn't see any game, but there was a good amount of sign.

This shadow looked too neat not take a snap of:

Looks like fun.  Thanks for sharing.  It looks like you guys got your winter ration of snow all in one week.

Looks like a good day to do some scouting and stumping. Nice kill shot on the stump.

Nice looking woods there. The snow will be in the woods here for another 4-5 weeks. Looking forward to getting out.

I'm up in Mt. Carmel; (up in coal country, halfway-ish between Harrisburg and Wilkes Barre on I-81) these woods are just down the road a mile or so.

Looking forward to meeting ya on the 7th.

Looks like the snow is staring to melt away like it is over here. So I decided to take a walk out back too. Here's my pass thru at about 20 paces.
