Howdy Trad Gang,
I asked John at Tusker to do a little video for us and he came through in spades. Here he briefly demonstrates his sharpening method, then shoots some bull shoulders for your amusement.
I am a huge fan of the Tuskers, they're tough, take a simply wicked sharp edge and offer tremendous value. What's not to like?
We've got even more Tuskers in stock than ever, stay tuned for a new web page. In the meantime you can peruse our selection here:
Tusker Broadheads at Braveheart Archery
Don't see the Tusker you're looking for? PM me we may have it already.
Thanks! Tim @ Braveheart

Tim, I've been looking for a place to get more of these! I bought some Aztecs and Concords back about 5 or 6 years ago and I really like the Aztecs. I wish they would make the Aztec or Delta with a 4 blade option with a replacable bleeder. Thanks for sharing the video. Do you have the glue-on Aztecs or Delta's? You'll be hearing from me in a few weeks after I get moved and settled in to my new place.
thanks,
Ken

Aw shoot. I've had my heart set on Grizzly's but man those 190 gr. Concords are tempting me. They look like they sharpen waaaaaaaaay easier than the grizz. And they're cheaper!

Bought (2) dozen Azteks from John awhile back. Regretful I didn't get 6 dozen. They're well made.
Never seen BH's razor sharpened so fast & never with a file. I sharpen surgical instruments. Huge lesson!

The bear I killed last spring really didn't like those Tuskers. I'm sure you've seen the video! Thanks for the demo!!!

Here's Ryans video of his awesome bear. Taken with a single bevel Tusker Concorde I believe.

The Aztecs I got back then didn't come with a pre-ground angle, I just took a file to them, hit them with a stone a few times and then a little leather and they were the easiest to sharpen heads I've ever had. They were also the sharpest I've personally ever gotten a head and the one that I ran through a hog still popped the hair off my arm afterwards. Great broadheads and very low cost for the quality!! The only thing that could improve them is a 4 blade/replaceable bleeder option.

cool !!! love Tusker b'heads . i shot a large pig three years ago , hitting him high and taking out his spine . shooting from above , the shaft full penetrated the large hog , killing him very quickly . what i couldn't get over was after doing such damage to a spinal column , upon retrieval the broadhead was still absolutely shaving sharp. other
A great product regardless of how affordable they are compared to " top end " [ no pun intended ] broadheads .

Man that looks like a great and simple set up!
Even I might be able to handle this sharpening method...just got to keep the angle.

Yes it was a single bevel Concord. I think I NEED some Aztecs now....at least they won't cost me much $$$. Gotta love the prices!!

That double bevel Aztec penetrated every bit as well, and even in the thick part of the shoulder.
How about that. Those have caught my eye 8^).

The tusker does look impressive...single bevel or double. I wonder if the double bevel is any better than a Zwickey double, which is really good as well.
They do look like great broadheads.
I would love to see some glue on heads that were about 4 inches long and 350 grains.

Great video. I wish Tusker would make a 145 grain glue on Concorde.
