Killdeer~ I'm going out for a beer.   :wavey:
Long, long afterward, in an oak I found the arrow, still unbroke;
And the song, from beginning to end, I found again in the heart of a friend.

My Dad was wearing a flashy blue shirt the other day and I called him Papa Smurf. We all laughed for a bit.I must have tried a dozen screen names when I joined trad gang. It kept saying name taken. I kept putting in names that no one has ever spoken. Turns out I had Ed my real name somewhere on a nickname deal and thats why I think it kept saying name taken. So I took the Ed off and got stuck with Poison arrow.

So I don't see the problem with ElkHerder unless it indicates that she's an "elk" to be herded?

I don't understand why she insisted on the change... please enlighten me "Papa Bear", and good call on keeping momma happy - I know all about that issue!

Larry,

You're always buying new and used bows like their going out of style and your running from the wife on the trad gang name?  I figured she had enough and did you in.  Haven't seen you at the club or shop lately and figured you might be pushing up dirt. ;-)

Nice to have a good woman at your side, even if they do get bossy sometimes.  Just ask NW Trad Wife who runs our shop.  I say me its me, she just grins and says when I let you!

Good post buddy, I will know who to look for on here for your posts.

No sense fighting it Larry, the force is against you. I learned years ago that momma is the boss! It just seems better that way....or should I say safer.

I've found that if I get most of the honey do list completed before hunting season, my wife doesn't complain at all about my hunting. As far as getting a new bow I make sure she gets something she "THINKS" is equel value, she doesn't have to know the exact cost of the bow.

My wife started gun hunting with me several years ago, and now is thinking of archery hunting so we both need a new bow for that...... right?.  ;)
