Great looking hog there!!!!

You should shoot a bigger one, skin it, and make a "Hoggie Snuggie" for Biggie!   :D

Before it goes any furhter I need to make 2 Public apologies here!

One- from Ken's description- I didn't think he got great penentration and that's why I pulled off trail- turns out he did good. I just couldn't find it. When I let Peanut go- I shoulda stayed on her- we stayed on the blood that kinda got sparse. I'm sure she looked at the hog more than once. She got hit once by a not quite dead one and is a little skiddish. If'n it was a deer- well she LOVES them!

Two-Biggie and Jerry shoulda been in that photo! I told Biggie it was for the St. Judes Crew only- BIG mistake- he let me have it ALL weekend. Truth be known- he makes all critters look small and this was a nice hog-didn't wanna take away from it!!!!!

Now I probably need to apologize again- seems to be a pattern lately! Oh well.

Congrats again Ken on a good shot!

Marty would only let the "St Judes Guys" in the picture...
He's supposed to be my straight man. When I hollered out I found a piece of flesh, he's supposed to say "How big a piece?" That way I could say. "oh.......about 200#."

A good guide would have found it Thursday night...

Ken made a perfect shot...the fat just plugged up the hole a little.

Biggie. You can be in the picture next year.. It's real easy. Just win the bidding!!!!!!!!!!
The old order is passing. Swiftly receding into memory are the days of strong, earnest men who followed an atavistic yearning to pit their skills against wild animals.

Ya I would bet the hog that left that behind would make a "Biggie Sized Snuggie"

Need to figure out how to use the qoute feature  :banghead:

I plan on being in the bidding again on this baby ... Michael might have to make a deal with the tooth fairy ...

my hunting gear was a 55# ACS LB, 65-70# tapered fir arrows made by Joe Lorenzen, and two blade heads.

All of Terry's stands had bow holders and pull up ropes. They were very comfortable ladder stands, set up well for my right hand shooting.

Most if not all sites had two stands to give you an alternative depending on wind direction. I have a new appreciation of how well a hog can smell you. I would compare them to a black bear any time.
