Which Charity?
« on: February 26, 2010, 09:44:00 PM »
Doug Schlabach produced a really nice traditional bowhunting DVD called, Lettin' Loose.  It's two hours of trad bowhunting and he even filmed many of the hunts himself.

Anyway, each year he donates 25% of the profits to a charity and he hasn't selected which charity he's going to send that 25% to this year.

We wanted to ask all you TradGanger'ers to see what you thought.

Who do you think Doug should donate that 25% to this year?

His website is:   http://www.lettinloose.com/lettinloose/The_DVD.html

You can post here who you suggest.  He needs to pick someone...  todd

St Judes is a good one.  The work they do for kids is great.

St.Jude's is a good choice, but I also have to put a plug in for Ronald McDonald House charities.  They really helped my wife and me out during a tough time when she gave birth to extremely premature twin boys.

trad gang ONLY endorses st. judes children's hospital - that's our recommendation.  we run the trad gang st' judes auction yearly and the membership has donated many many thousands of dollars to this date.

so yeah, definitely st. judes!

I think that's great no matter the charity.   Mighty fine gesture for sure.

I know our gang here is really trying to bust $100,000 this year for the kids of St Judes Childrens Hospital so it would definately be more than welcome here.

Tip of the hat to ya either way       :notworthy:

I can't argue with St. Jude's.  It's a great charity.  I'm slightly partial (I guess that's the word I'm looking for) to the National MS Society.  My wife suffers from that disease.
