I thought this was pretty neat. It's a Bass Pro thing with Fred Bear footage and some people talking about him. I thought you all might enjoy it too. If ya'll don't want it in the PowWow I understand.

That piece right there, may imply that there will be more films coming than what is already out there. As acadian archer says, 'awesome'.

I am with Tom. I can't count the number of times I have watched Fred's movies. Both as a kid and as a grown man.
Every little detail of his films stands out to me. I must say that the footage of Fred shooting that Kodiak Bear behind that rock is absolutely the BEST!
The commentary of the others was good but found Dick Lattimers comments to be really interesting. How "old" is this? Has Bass Pro made any progress? I agree with Tom again: I would love to see NEW films!
I could go on and on about Fred Bear. Such a trailblazer in so many regards. Get the films. Read the books. He is just such a giant in our chosen sport. When I picture a bowhunter in my minds eye it is Fred Bear!

Cool footage !!!!
I have a flannel shirt in exactly the same pattern as the red/black/gray plaid that Fred is wearing in most of that video. I've had it for probably 20 years and it is, and always has been my favorite flannel shirt.

I bought the Fred bear DVD collection 3 weeks ago. A great piece of history. I am watching the second DVD and when it gets to The American Sportsman and Curt Gowdy is talking and Fred is hunting, it brought back some wonderful memories!
