Made me a quiver... (wearing pic page 2)
« on: February 28, 2010, 12:32:00 PM »
Well I was at the range last week flinging arrows and I got fed up with my backquiver. So I put is aside and with no other place to put them, I plunked my arrows into the lower pocket of my carpenter sytle jeans. And to my surprise absolutely loved having them there! It was an easy reach, the arrows were quiet and they didn`t move around much. So I went home after that and decided to built a hybrid back-hip quiver that would hold my arrows the same way my jeans did. And here is the result.

The quivers works exactly as I hoped it would and it was pretty neat making my own hunting gear for a change.

Good job!  That's it.... I'm gonna have to track down some leather working tools and get started on some of my own stuff.

So do you strap it to your lower leg? Or to your waist belt?
