Any long draws shooting/shot a Cari-Bow Peregrine?
« on: February 28, 2010, 12:37:00 PM »
I'd like to know how a cari-bow Peregrine feels drawn out at 30 inches. I've read every  thread regarding these bows already and am wondering how the longer draw shooters liked it.

Anyone in Colorado have one I could try?
Thanks

Joshua

Get a 62" and you will have no problem at 30". Very quick and smooth bows. Very well made.

Pete Ward\\'s force/draw curve for Peregrine
When we talked earlier, i forgot Pete Ward had done a force draw curve for the Peregrine.
Hope this helps.

Thanks everyone. I think the problem is I have not been able to test one. Though worth it they are not an inexpensive bow. I am second guessing at this point- thus all the worry. The fd curves show (I've seen two) they do start building around 26 and add more and more per inch until 29-30 is adding 3lbs, over 3 @ 30-31 etc.

I may just have to wait and test one somehow.
Going out now to shoot my Howatt for therapy...

Alot of 30" shooters have shot my Peregrine and none have had any stack concerns or coments. This bow is gaining  2.8# from 29 to 30". This is not stacking. The bow was built for 28" 50# draw, and it is a very nice shooting bow.
I am sure Abe can /will build the limb you want for your 30" draw, Talk to him.

Okay, okay. Thanks for the perspective. I've learned  something today. I'll talk to Abe and at this point don't have any serious concerns. The things I get hung up on, LOL!
