John Strunk LB
« on: March 01, 2010, 12:16:00 PM »
Anyone know what the value of a John Strunk Spirit LB would be?  Bow in question is a 68" 70@28. It is clear glass, black Micarta tips.  Lams are made of cascarra wood and riser is Shedua.  Bow was made 3-4-1988.

Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks

Mike

That is from the time John developed his glass allergy and went back to all wood. In my mind the bow is worth a lot if you find a buyer who wants to pull 70#. My guess is a bargain at 350-400

I also have a Strunk spirit longbow.  It is really gorgeous but it is right handed (i am a lefty).  He probably wont make anymore glass bows, he is a great bowyer, and the bow is a work of art. I would say it is priceless to me. Mike, if your bow is lefty, we'll talk.

It's a right hander.
