The most comfortable nock made thus far,is probably the swedish Bjoin nock. However this nock as well as so many other nocks on todays market are not designed with the traditional archer in mind.Whether you shoot one of these more modern types or not, one should keep in mind that if it clicks going on, its got to jerk coming off the string while being shot. This within itself can cause erratic arrow flight. I suggest that one file open the throat of the nock so that it will slide on and off the string, with ease. These little tips can make all the differance when trying to bring your equipment into tune for better shooting. Personally I prefer mid nocks, and the classic nocks that bohning brought out with the little indicator on top, makes volley of the arrow as being drawn from a back quiver, up and over the shoulder and down onto the string easy. With this little invention, I can feel which way the cock feather is without taking my eye off the target or while in the field hunting game.Even the types I like, I prefer to modify them with a small file or a piece of folded over sand paper.Jerry Hill................
