Sheath for ST Judes Auction Hawk - Pics added

Hey gang,

I have a tomahawk that I have close to completion that I am donating to the St Judes Auction.  I would like to find someone to make a fancy sheath for it for the auction.  I dont have any mad skills at leatherwork and think it would add to the auction item to have a nice sheath.

Anyone who is willing to make up a nice sheath let me know.  I will mail the hawk out to you and then we can post it on the auction once you get done with the sheath.

I have completed the St Judes Tomahawk and will be mailing it off to Razorback since he very generously volunteered to make a fancy sheath for it.

The hawk has a fancy curly maple handle and a hot oil finish with some ladder file work on the spine.  It is a medium weight hawk which is light enough to carry, but still stand up to heavy use in the field.

I have some 9oz veg tan that I can make one up with. I'm no professional leather worker but I do alright.

I don't want to take it from anybody if they want it but I would like to do some leather work for something for the auction.

Hi Gang,

Thanks for all the great offers. They remind me why I use Trad Gang as a home away from home.  I can't tell you how much I enjoy spending time chatting and learning from such great people.

I am going to take up Razorbak on the fancy tooled sheath for the ST Judes hawk.  I have the ability and leather to make a basic sheath.  I do not have any real leatherworking skills so the fancy sheath will really enhance the auction and should bring in more money for St Judes.  

I will have the hawk completed by the end of this week and will mail it to Razorbak next weekend.

I'm new to the T.G. & this surely sounds goofy but I'm truly honored/humbled to be a part of a group of such selfless people.  Every part of this string shows the highest character & integrity.  Oh, by the way - I said I'm new so could someone tell me what "TTT" means?
