Locket Socket Difference?

For anyone who has tried a locket socket 2 piece, and the same make in a 1 piece, did you notice any difference in shooting characteristics?

I have 2 pl's one takedown and one one piece. The take down is about three pounds heaver, but there is no big diference in the way they shoot. The locket socket is the best thing on the market for a take down. You cannot tell it is a two piece when it is strung. No ugly line or bumps or other unsightley stuff on the handle.

I agree 100% with Steve. I have 2 Widow PLX's - one's the locket socket, and the other's a hinge system. They both feel identical to a 1-pc PLX I just sold. Luv them Widows.

I to have 2 Widow plx's and notice no difference. Its really a nice system. I rarely ever "take them down", only when I either store them, or go on an out of state hunt or something.

I would think 3 ozs heavier rather than 3 pounds between the TD and 1 piece.

If you plan on shooting the locket socket without the "sure grip" or a "beaver tail" grip installed you may not like the unsightly appearance of the handle in the grip area since it is a dull black instead of the wood used in the bow. I prefer the old style take down system for that reason, or a one piece with the all wood grip.
