My new Great Northern Green Ghost!

OK, it is not officially called the Green Ghost, I was just trying to be clever.
This is the new limited edition green glass that Jerry is offering on the entire line of Great Northern bows. It looks really nice. I am not normally a recurve shooter, but with that straight grip and narrow limbs it had enough in common with a longbow for me to be curious. I really like it! Smooth, fast and quiet. 60", 55# @ 28". I love the simple, uncluttered beauty of Great Northern bows.

Oh, we finally have pics. What a beauty.
Happens to be my favorite bow and the correct draw weight. So when you decide to let loose, I'd appreciate an advanced warning.
And that quiver full of arrows. WOW!!!
And that old tree with more toes than I have fingers!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thought I was back in Fengold Forest.

My first custom bow I bought myself was a great Northern 68" osage longbow. You are right they are simple effective creations, always reliable and durable.
That green glass curve is a sweet creation, how do you like the shooting?

Great Northern caught my eye in Kalamazoo. Your bow confirms I wasn't in the wrong then. That is one set up.

I love the way it shoots. Not too much pre-load, very, very smooth and very quiet. It is light in the hand and quite stable. it is the only recurve I have ever liked.

Ghost Dog,
The finest fit bow I've ever owned was a previously owned GN Ghost, 60" 54@28 Osage On Osage with the same grip.
Felt like an extension of my arm. Wished I had it back.
I think you have a keeper.

That green glass Jerry has is awesome. He had a Bushbow made with it at Kzoo that was a beauty. I was tempted to go with it on the Jacknife Bushbow I recently ordered but stuck with my favorite GN combo of Osage and Shedua. Can't go wrong with a Ghost! I love those Great Northerns!!
