Any suggestions on where to order breasted Cedar shafts? Been shooting Carbon as of late, but want to go back to shooting the Cedars.

Do they go by spine or cup size or is there a conversion chart 34D = 65#.

Breasting is similar to barreling except the shafts point end is tapered over a longer length than the nock end. This lightens the shaft further and some say make the arrow more aerodynamic

Wrong!
Breasted shafts are 11/32 on the point end, 23/64 in the middle, 5/16 on the nock end.
Has nothing to do with the length of the tapers.
Barrels are the same size on both ends, diameter in the middle doesn't matter.

The footed shafts I just bought from Kye are breasted then by Jim's definition. Never heard that term. In fact in Kye's description to me he refered to them as barreled also.

By the way, his company is called Great Basin Footed Shafts if you are looking for some...He was selling them under the "Sponsor's Classified" forum.
