Post some pictures if you have. I want to get some ideas. I am thinking of making a lace up type.

Very nice snakewood!

Would you mind explaining how you did that?

Thanks, Robert

I was just about to post and ask how to put leather handles on a recurve! I've got a metal risered recurve that I would like to make a warmer, more attractive leather grip for. I'ts pistol grip angle is about the same as snakewood's black recurve in the pictures, and I was wondering how I was going to commence to wrapping it. Please tell me how you did all that!!!

snakewood,

Not sure why you are so 'hush hush'....but I'd sure like to know more about those grip wraps.  Those are drop dead gorgeous.

Thanks all...I'll put together a pictoral step by step pretty soon. Not being " hush hush " Terry, just a darn busy single parent with two boys on a farm / ranch dealing with an ice storm right now. Bear with me please.

Would you be so kind as to just ignore your boys and your farm for a day and make me one?

Good luck digging out!!
Otto
