Swagging machine ?

I don't know what happened to R&J archery out of Montana, but they had a compression swager and put our very nice shafts. If you want to spin-form swage I believe you can do those with a power drill but am not really sure of the how part. Sorry I can't be of more help...

To Tim; and other interested parties here are some pics of a Swager. Here is the clamp Note the holes are marked to aluminum arrow sizes. Insert and tighten arrow in the appropiate hole , leave approximately 7/8" sticking out and position the clamp on drill press bed. The actual Swager is the little drum sander looking thing on the right, install in drill press & set drill press to turn @ about 1100 RPM , i also use some lubricant like STP . the hole at the top of swager is foe venting. This pic shows the other end of swager that has a 5 Degree taper machined into it. The swager is made of D2 steel which has a high Chrome content.   :campfire:

My Dad had a block made by a metal shop and then he used a guide with a drill press.

Hi Chuck;
               I got mine from Vic's archery in Grandville michigan many years ago. Vic has since moved on and i don't know of his where abouts.  He's a good fella
