I have made a few of these out of eastern red cedar.

here is a link to a rack my dad and i made.  we used a red oak board and some stain that was laying around.  This was a really easy project and looks very good.

Here's one a buddy made for me..60" wide and holds 3 longbows or 2 recurves on each peg without having them touching each other.[struung or un-strung ] It would hold 36 longbows or 24 recurves or used as I do with both.

I just tinkered around after receiving some arrows in the mail and decided to make something simple yet "show offy" and of course it just had to match my decor    ;)   I plan on making another one soon (now that I'm addicted to this Traditional bow stuff)

This is a Bow Rack I've been working on since August. It holds 2 bows, 12 arrows, a quiver & a shooting glove (or whatever) Now that it's 99.9% complete so I thought I would post some pictures.

I picked up a few whitetail deer antlers from a friend of mine who had them laying around

While I was in Colorado visiting my boyfriend I found a jaw with some Elk teeth - so I thought it would be neat to use one as the nob for the bottom door.

I designed a decal & used the mask to etch the glass.

So that's my project I've worked long and some what hard at these past few months. It was fun & considerably inexpensive. It's for my boyfriend (I hope he likes it)

This time of the year, this room becomes a staging area for organizing before leaving for hunting- meaning it is usually a mess. So, I had to pick up a bit before I took the pic.
Nothing fancy, but it keeps them off the floor. The colored bands beside the skull mount are unfilled bear permits.  For some reason I kept them.

My wife told me that if I made a nice bow rack I could hang the bows up in the house. She thought I did such a good job she let me hang it in the bedroom.   The top slot is made to hold a strung bow. The bow collection has surpassed the capacity of the rack.

I'm thinking about mounting a horn or a peg to hang the longbow from. I'm giving the wasp to my brother for his birthday so that eliminates one of the bows that won't fit on the rack.  I cut 7 slots 2.5 inches deep at 20 degrees into 1x6 clear pine.  Should have made room for 10.

I made this one to go in my man cave which is a room on the side of my garage. I have quivers on it for the pics but I hang my hunting clothes on it during the season. It is made of a rough cut oak board and rough cut osage with feet from my first buck I killed years ago.
