I'm afraid of contact cement on alloy arrows and fletch tape melts here in Texas.

I used it one year and went to a shoot in August.  I watched my fletching slide accross the shaft.  Pretty entertaining.

Gorilla super glue blue top workes the best for me just make sure shaft is clean
